science of surveying and mapping in their several branches, in furtherance of
the public welfare and in the interests of both those who use maps and surveys
and those who make them.
b. To contribute to
public education in the use of surveying and mapping products and services.
c. To encourage the
development, and maintenance of college curriculums that effectively teach all
components of surveying and mapping science, art and technology.
